Just Wages Navigator

This program, in collaboration with the Wage Theft Task Force, will train volunteers to assist victims of wage theft in recovering their earned wages through the Colorado Department of Labor and Employment (CDLE) administrative process.

Participants will learn about the wage theft problem in our state, the passage of the Colorado Wage Protection Act of 2014, and implementation of that Act at the CDLE.

Participants will then receive hands-on training on how to file a wage theft claim with the CDLE, along with practical tips on how best to assist workers interested in filing a claim.

Each Just Wages Navigator will receive a certificate upon completion of the program, and will commit to assisting at least one low-wage worker with the filing of a wage theft claim with the CDLE over the following twelve (12) months.
